Zach Schlegel

Senior Pastor

Zach grew up in Nebraska where he heard the gospel and saw it lived out among family members seeking to follow Jesus. After attending the University of Nebraska to study Mechanical Engineering, he moved to Chicago to go to Moody Theological Seminary. There, he met and married his wife Katie. They have two young boys, Hudson and Gavin. After serving as a pastor in Chicago and Washington DC, the Schlegel's moved to Maryland to join the work in Upper Marlboro.


Mike Rogers

Associate Pastor

A graduate of Liberty University, Mike not only leads worship, but also serves as an Elder and coordinates our Group ministry. He has served at FBC for eleven years.


Tyrone Moorehead

Administrative Pastor, Elder

Tyrone is a graduate of Howard University and has worked as a contractor in the area of IT Administration. Among his many duties, he will give oversight to church-wide projects, as well as ministry teams. He also serves as an Elder.


Pam Jensen

DiscipleLIFE & Children's Ministries Director/Membership Administrator/Office Manager

Pam has served at FBC for over fifteen years. She is a graduate of Liberty University and McDaniel College. In addition to giving oversight to the day-to-day operations in the church office, she gives oversight to the DiscipleLIFE Program and the Childrens' Ministries.


Jason Brown

Music Director

Jason is a transplant from TX and a graduate of Baylor University. He has served at FBC for nine years leading all things musical. He is an accomplished pianist and composer.


Tanya Joy

Administrative Assistant/Financial Secretary/Receptionist

Tanya has served at FBC for nine years. She is usually the first cheerful voice your hear when you call or the first face you see when you stop in the church office. In addition to her various day-to-day responsibilities, she serves the financial secretary recording weekly contributions.


Tory Galeano

Facilities Manager

The "king of clean" has served at FBC for eleven years keeping our new building in tip-top shape. He is a retired EMT with Arlington County Fire Dept. and plays a mean mandola.
