Mid-week Announcements on July 8, 2020
1) Mid-week devotional – In today’s mid-week devotional we look to God’s word to answer the question: how should we relate to church members when we disagree on disputable matters? Let me encourage you to take some time to listen to the devotional on Romans 14.
2) Ask Your Pastors Anything – Over the past several months, the elders have done a mid-week devotional in the hopes of building the church up and pointing us to God. Next week we’ll have a chance to hear from pastor Tyrone, then starting July 22nd we want to do something different for the summer. We’re asking you to email the pastors (at [email protected]) with any question you’d like us to answer. We’ll then pick one of those questions during the week and do our best to answer it by applying God’s word to the issue raised. That means we need you to email those questions ASAP so we have time to answer them!
3) FBCUM Virtual Prayer Meeting next Wednesday (7/15/20) at 6:30 PM – We plan to meet as a church family for a prayer meeting. Please check your email that morning for the ZOOM information to join us. If you have any questions, please contact the church office for help.
4) Testimony of Grace: A testimony of evangelism (Faris Hawit). {3:37m}
5) Book Recommendation – How the Nations Rage: Rethinking Faith and Politics in a Divided Age, by Jonathan Leeman
6) Gathering Outdoors on Sunday – Lord willing, we plan on meeting outside again this Sunday, July 12th as well as offer the live-stream option for those who are at high-risk or not ready to gather. Please take a moment to read this FAQ sheet to know what to expect and to make sure you have all the relevant details. Please contact the church office with any questions.
7) FBCUM Playlist – Check out the playlist on the resources section of our church’s website. We’ve collected all the songs we’ve recorded during the last two months for our edification and encouragement: Master Playlist
8) Giving We encourage you to continue to faithfully give as a way to sustain the gospel ministry at FBCUM and as a means for us to care for those in need as a church family. You can give online or mail in your offering to the church office. Church members who have a benevolence request, please contact the church office at [email protected].
If you have any questions, please contact the church office.
