Announcement

Mid-week Announcements on July 22, 2020

1) Mid-week devotional – Today we begin the first installment of “Ask your pastors anything.” Thanks to those of you who sent in questions. Our plan is to spend the next four weeks tackling a number of your questions. Any questions we don’t have time to answer, we will follow up personally with those who emailed the question. Today’s question is this: “Why do Christians worship on Sunday (the 1st day of the week) instead of Saturday (the 7th day of the week)?”

2) FBCUM Virtual Prayer Meeting will be August 5th at 6:30 PM – Please mark your calendars for Wednesday, August 5th (two weeks from today). Lord willing, we plan to meet as a church family for a prayer meeting. Please check your email for the ZOOM information to join us. If you have any questions, please contact the church office for help.

3) Kids Scripture Memory and Catechism – On Tuesday, August 11th, at 6:30 PM, Pastor Zach and Pam Jensen will be leading a time with parents and kids (ages 3-12) over ZOOM to go over the next section of catechism questions. Here’s what we hope to cover

5) Gathering Outdoors on Sundays – Lord willing, we plan on meeting outside again this Sunday, July 26th. Please take a moment to read this FAQ sheet to know what to expect and to make sure you have all the relevant details. Please contact the church office with any questions.

6) FBCUM Playlist – Check out the playlist on the resources section of our church’s website. We’ve collected all the songs we’ve recorded during the last two months for our edification and encouragement: Master Playlist

7) Giving We encourage you to continue to faithfully give as a way to sustain the gospel ministry at FBCUM and as a means for us to care for those in need as a church family.
