Mid-week Announcements on January 6, 2021
1) Mid-week devotional – As we continue on in our series on wisdom (living skillfully in God’s world), we turn to this morning to the Psalms, looking specifically at Psalm 62. The Psalms are God’s inspired hymnbook, so we don’t just read them, we pray and sing the psalms. Our devotional this week has four simple components: Read, Reflect, Pray, and Praise. Begin with the devotional, then end with the song of praise:
a) Mid-week Devotional: Psalm 62 “God Alone is Our Help”
(*We also put this content on our podcast platforms: Google Podcast or Apple Podcast)
b) “Rock of My Salvation” – FBCUM YouTube channel
2) FBCUM Prayer Meeting, January 6th at 6:30 PM (ZOOM only) – Lord willing, we plan on having a churchwide tonight at 6:30 PM on ZOOM. Please check your email for the ZOOM information as we come together to praise God and make our requests known to Him. If you have any questions, please contact the church office.

4) Indoor Meeting Plans: Lord willing, we will continue to meet indoors for the duration of the winter season. You can find out our plans for meeting indoors by reading the Indoor gathering FAQ sheet. Please note, we plan to continue to offer the live-stream option for the duration of COVID-19. If you have any questions, please contact the church office with any questions.
5) FBCUM Playlist – Check out the playlist on the resources section of our church’s website. We’ve collected all the songs we’ve recorded over the last several months for our edification and encouragement: FBCUM Worship Songs
6) Giving We encourage you to continue to faithfully give as a way to sustain the gospel ministry at FBCUM and as a means for us to care for those in need as a church family. You can give online or mail in your offering to the church office. Church members who have a benevolence request, please contact the church office at [email protected].
If you have any questions, please contact the church office.
