Announcement
Mid-week Announcements on February 24, 2021
1) Mid-week devotional – As we continue on in our series on wisdom (living skillfully in God’s world), we return to the book of Proverbs. Today, Pastor Vince dives into Proverbs 19:11 which talks about anger and how to respond in wisdom when someone offends us.
2) FBCUM Prayer Meeting next Wednesday, March 3rd at 6:30 PM (ZOOM) – Lord willing, we plan on having a churchwide prayer meeting next Wednesday at 6:30 PM on ZOOM. Please mark your calendars for the ZOOM invite and join us as we come together to praise God and make our requests known to Him. If you have any questions, please contact the church office.
3) Member Meeting on March 7th – Immediately following our morning service on Sunday, March 7th, we are planning on having a member’s meeting. For those able to join us, please mark your calendars and plan on joining us then.
4) Last Sunday for lawn chairs is February 28th – Please plan on bringing your chairs one more Sunday (2/28). But, beginning Sunday, March 7th our plan is to bring the church’s chairs back into the auditorium and fellowship hall. Rather than rows, we will put 8 chairs in each of the socially distanced sections, and chairs will be cleaned/disinfected each week. Families can still bring in blankets and extra chairs if they need any.
5) Book Recommendation – Respectable Sins by Jerry Bridges
6) Indoor Meeting Plans: Lord willing, we will continue to meet indoors for the duration of the winter season. You can find out our plans for meeting indoors by reading the Indoor gathering FAQ sheet. Please note, we plan to continue to offer the live-stream option for the duration of COVID-19. If you have any questions, please contact the church office with any questions.
7) FBCUM Playlist – Check out the playlist on the resources section of our church’s website. We’ve collected all the songs we’ve recorded over the last several months for our edification and encouragement: FBCUM Worship Songs
8) Giving We encourage you to continue to faithfully give as a way to sustain the gospel ministry at FBCUM and as a means for us to care for those in need as a church family. You can give online or mail in your offering to the church office. Church members who have a benevolence request, please contact the church office at [email protected].
If you have any questions, please contact the church office.
