Mid-week Announcements on March 10, 2021

1) Mid-week devotional – As we continue on in our series on wisdom (living skillfully in God’s world), we return to the book of Proverbs. Today, I look at Proverbs 14:4 which talks about the cost and the benefits of messy relationships.

2) FBCUM Prayer Meeting Wednesday, March 17th at 6:30 PM (ZOOM) – Lord willing, we plan on having a churchwide prayer meeting next Wednesday at 6:30 PM on ZOOM. Please check your email your calendars for the ZOOM invite and join us as we come together to praise God and make our requests known to Him. If you have any questions, please contact the church office.

3)  Testimony of God’s Grace – If you missed it last week, take a moment to listen to this short video interview with Jason Brown and a few of our Dad’s and their sons on what they’re doing to encourage each other and spur each other on to love and good deeds during this season.

4) Book RecommendationThe Freedom of Self-Forgetfulness: The Path to True Christian Joy, by Timothy Keller

5) Indoor Meeting Plans: Lord willing, we will continue to meet indoors for the duration of the winter season. You can find out our plans for meeting indoors by reading the Indoor gathering FAQ sheet. Please note, we plan to continue to offer the live-stream option for the duration of COVID-19. If you have any questions, please contact the church office with any questions.

6) FBCUM Playlist – Check out the playlist on the resources section of our church’s website. We’ve collected all the songs we’ve recorded over the last several months for our edification and encouragement:  FBCUM Worship Songs

7) Giving We encourage you to continue to faithfully give as a way to sustain the gospel ministry at FBCUM and as a means for us to care for those in need as a church family. You can give online or mail in your offering to the church office. Church members who have a benevolence request, please contact the church office at [email protected].
