Announcement
Mid-week Announcements on March 24, 2021
1) Mid-week devotional – We bring our study on wisdom to a close as we look at the book of Proverbs. Today, Pastor Tyrone will look at Proverbs 9:10 which talks about the foundation of biblical wisdom: the fear of God.
2) Good Friday Service – Lord willing, we are planning to remember the sacrificial death of Christ on April 2nd at 7:00 PM for our Good Friday service through songs, a message from Isaiah 53, and celebrating the Lord’s Supper. We will have an in-person service at the church building and be live-streaming it for those unable to attend due to health concerns.
3) Easter Outreach Tools – This Sunday, we’ll have several free resources available for members to use as an evangelistic conversation starter and opportunity to invite a friend to church or to begin reading Scripture together. We’ll have them available at the information desk after service or you can email the church office.
4) Book Recommendation – What does the Bible Really Teach about Homosexuality? By Kevin DeYoung.
5) Indoor Meeting Plans: Lord willing, we will continue to meet indoors for the duration of the winter season. You can find out our plans for meeting indoors by reading the Indoor gathering FAQ sheet. Please note, we plan to continue to offer the live-stream option for the duration of COVID-19. If you have any questions, please contact the church office with any questions.
6) FBCUM Playlist – Check out the playlist on the resources section of our church’s website. We’ve collected all the songs we’ve recorded over the last several months for our edification and encouragement: FBCUM Worship Songs
7) Giving We encourage you to continue to faithfully give as a way to sustain the gospel ministry at FBCUM and as a means for us to care for those in need as a church family. You can give online or mail in your offering to the church office. Church members who have a benevolence request, please contact the church office at [email protected].
If you have any questions, please contact the church office.
