Mid-week Announcements on April 14, 2021

1) FBCUM Prayer Meeting next Wednesday, (4/21), 6:30 PM (ZOOM) – Lord willing, we plan on having a churchwide prayer meeting next Wednesday at 6:30 PM on ZOOM. Please check your email your calendars for the ZOOM invite and join us as we come together to praise God and make our requests known to Him. If you have any questions, please contact the church office.

2) Starting Point Class April 25^th – Following the morning service (lunch will be served), we are planning a starting point class where we walk thru what we believe as a church, what it means to be a member at FBCUM, and the mission/vision of our church. Attending this class does not obligate you to join the church, but it is the first step for folks who are interested in joining FBCUM. To find out more information and/or to sign up for the class, email the church office at [email protected].

3) Evidence of God’s Grace –John writes in 1 John 3:18, “Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.” This past Friday our youth had the chance to love ‘in deed’ by helping out with some yard work. What are some practical ways you can love your brother or sister in Christ at FBCUM?

4) Book Recommendations – 1) The Tech-Wise Family: Everyday Steps for Putting Technology in Its Proper Place by Andy Crouch and 2) 12 Ways Your Phone is Changing You, by Tony Reinke

5) Indoor Meeting Plans: Lord willing, we will continue to meet indoors. You can find out our plans for meeting indoors by reading the Indoor gathering FAQ sheet. Please note, we plan to continue to offer the live-stream option for the duration of COVID-19. If you have any questions, please contact the church office with any questions.

7) Giving We encourage you to continue to faithfully give as a way to sustain the gospel ministry at FBCUM and as a means for us to care for those in need as a church family. You can give online or mail in your offering to the church office. Church members who have a benevolence request, please contact the church office at [email protected].
