1) Elder Talk & Prayer Meeting – September 8th, 2021 – 6:30 PM : Tonight, we’re planning on meeting at the church building for an elder talk on social media and the church (“From the Overflow of the Heart, the Keyboard Types”), followed by a time of corporate prayer. We encourage those who are able, to join us. For those who cannot make it, the talk will be recorded. Please note, kids are welcome, but there will be no nursery. Part 2 will be the following Wednesday, September 15th at 6:30 PM (please mark your calendars!)

2) Fall Sunday School and New Sunday Morning Schedule – This Sunday September 12th, our plan is to introduce one Sunday School class in the auditorium on Philippians, Colossians, Philemon.  The class will be taught by the elders and is open to everyone, though we are not able to offer a nursery at this time. We are also offering an online ZOOM class at 12:30 PM on Sundays – please check fbcum.org to sign up.  September 12th, our plan is to shift our Sunday morning schedule to the following:

9:00 AM – Sunday School

10:00 AM – Sunday morning service

If you have any questions or concerns you can let us know by contacting one of the elders and/or emailing the church office ([email protected]).

3) Memorizing Romans 8 Together Challenge: Romans 8 is jam-packed with glorious truths about God good for us to dwell on and memorize. As our church works through Romans 8 this Fall (see Sermon Card), we wanted to offer a Scripture memory challenge to our church as a way to hide God’s word in our heart. Beginning September, we have 13 weeks to memorize all of Romans 8 (which has 39 verses). Find a friend to memorize with or do it with your family! For a helpful tool, check out https://biblememory.com/. If prefer to go at their own pace, go for it! For those who find it helpful to have a plan, here you go:
