Announcement
Mid-week Announcements on December 8, 2021
1) Prayer Meeting next Wednesday, December 15th (ZOOM) 6:30 PM – Mark your calendars for 6:30 PM for our church-wide prayer meeting.
2) Member Meeting – Church family! This Sunday (December 12th) immediately after our Sunday morning service, we’ll have our members’ meeting. Please plan to stick around afterward.
3) Christmas Caroling in your neighborhood – We’ve put together caroling programs so you can visit your neighbors with a group of church members, sing to them, and invite them to one of our church services in December. The caroling programs, invitations to FBCUM, and gospel tracts will be available to pick up at the information desk this Sunday (12/12/21). Find 2-3 other friends/families from the church and begin making your plans!
4) Christmas Eve Service – Mark your calendars for our Christmas Eve service, 6:00 PM at the church building on December 24th. We’ll gather to praise God for the Christ who came for us in song and Scripture. Use it as an opportunity to invite friends, neighbors, and family.
5) New Sermon Card – Join us in reading through the text we’re diving into each Sunday, praying before for God to open our eyes to see His beauty, and praying after for God to bear fruit in our lives – that we would be doers of His word for His glory. Click here to see our sermon card for December (2021) – January (2022).
6) Book Recommendations – What if I’m Discouraged in My Evangelism?, by Isaac Adams
7) Giving We encourage you to continue to faithfully give as a way to sustain the gospel ministry at FBCUM and as a means for us to care for those in need as a church family. You can give online or mail your offering to the church office. Church members who have a benevolence request, please contact the church office at [email protected].
If you have any questions, please contact the church office.
