Announcement
Mid-week Announcements on December 15, 2021
1) Prayer Meeting tonight, December 15th (ZOOM) 6:30 PM – Join us tonight on ZOOM as we gather at 6:30 PM for our church-wide prayer meeting.
2) Christmas Caroling in your neighborhood – We’ve put together caroling programs so you can visit your neighbors with a group of church members, sing to them, and invite them to one of our church services in December. The caroling programs, invitations to FBCUM, and gospel tracts will be available to pick up at the information desk this Sunday (12/12/21). Find 2-3 other friend/families from the church and begin making your plans!
3) Christmas Eve Service – Mark your calendars for our Christmas Eve service, 6:00 PM at the church building on December 24th. We’ll gather to praise God for the Christ who came for us in song and Scripture. Use it as an opportunity to invite friends, neighbors, and family.
4) Year-End Giving Opportunities – As you prayerfully consider any year-end giving, we wanted to highlight two additional opportunities for our church family to support gospel work locally and internationally.
- Local: Mercy of Christ Fellowship Church (https://mercyofchrist.com/) – year end goal of $5,000
- International: Lottie Moon Christmas Offering – year end goal of $10,000
5) Book Recommendations – Ten Questions to Diagnose Your Spiritual Health by Donald S. Whitney. [*For a shorter article click here]
6) Giving We encourage you to continue to faithfully give as a way to sustain the gospel ministry at FBCUM and as a means for us to care for those in need as a church family. You can give online or mail your offering to the church office. Church members who have a benevolence request, please contact the church office at [email protected].
If you have any questions, please contact the church office.
