Announcement

Mid-week Announcements on December 22, 2021

1) Christmas Caroling in your neighborhood – We’ve put together caroling programs so you can visit your neighbors with a group of church members, sing to them, and invite them to one of our church services in December. The caroling programs, invitations to FBCUM, and gospel tracts will be available to pick up at the information desk at the church. Find 2-3 other friends/families from the church and begin making your plans!

2) Christmas Eve Service – Join us this Friday for our Christmas Eve service, 6:00 PM at the church building. We’ll gather to praise God for the Christ who came for us in song and Scripture. Use it as an opportunity to invite friends, neighbors, and family.

3) Year-End Giving Opportunities – As you prayerfully consider any year-end giving, we wanted to highlight two additional opportunities for our church family to support gospel work locally and internationally.

  1. Local: Mercy of Christ Fellowship Church (https://mercyofchrist.com/) – year end goal of $5,000
  2. International: Lottie Moon Christmas Offering – year-end goal of $10,000

4) Parenting Conference at FBCUM – Mark your calendars for the morning of Saturday, January 22nd, 2022 as we plan to host a parenting conference. We are hosting pastor Ed Moore and his wife Anna from New York City as they lead our time together. To find out more information and to register for the event click here: “Biblical Parenting Conference”.

5) Bible Reading Plans

  1. Discipleship Journal Bible Reading Plan
  2. Robert Murray M’Cheyne Bible Reading Plan [For the Love of God, by D.A. Carson]

6) Giving We encourage you to continue to faithfully give as a way to sustain the gospel ministry at FBCUM and as a means for us to care for those in need as a church family. You can give online or mail your offering to the church office. Church members who have a benevolence request, please contact the church office at [email protected].

If you have any questions, please contact the church office.
