Pastor’s Post May 4, 2022

Hear brief  announcements from Pastor Zach on the Weekly Devotional,  Updates,  and encouraging stories from our congregation.

Mid-week Announcements on May 4, 2022

1) Prayer Meeting tonight, 6:30 PM – Lord willing, we’ll be gathering together as a church family at 6:30 to pray, hear encouragements from Proverbs 30:7-9 and testimonies of God’s grace. Please note that on the first Wednesday of the month, there is no AWANA so we can all gather as a family to pray. AWANA and inductive Bible Study will resume next Wednesday, May 11th.

2) Small Groups at FBCUM – We are looking at (re)launching community groups here at FBCUM as an additional way for us to encourage each other through the week, help the word of Christ dwell in us richly, and stir one another up to love and good deeds. Last week we sent out a brief SURVEY to help us in planning – if you haven’t had a chance to fill it out, take a moment to do so. Pray for good fruit from these efforts, we’ll keep you posted as the plans unfold. Click here for SURVEY

3) Members Meeting May 22, 2022 – Please mark your calendars as Lord willing, we plan to meet for our members’ meeting following the morning service on Sunday, May 22, 2022.

4) New Sermon Card – Join us in reading through the text we’re diving into each Sunday, praying before for God to open our eyes to see His beauty, and praying after for God to bear fruit in our lives – that we would be doers of His word for His glory. Click here to see our sermon card for May – July 2022.

5) Giving thanks to God for recent Disaster Relief On April 28th, our church and Disaster Relief team had the chance to serve the North American Mission Board by serving a meal as they met in Baltimore. Join us in thanking God for their efforts and praying for good fruit!
