John 3:22-36

Introduction

If the significance is based on performance, we assess our value through competition and comparison. In that case, each day is a day to prove ourselves, to justify our existence in the eyes of others. In John 3, we see a path to true joy (a contentment no matter the circumstance) that’s radically different than the path the world prescribes.
