Introduction

Has your heart known the sickness of having hope deferred? What if God seems distant, cold, or unconcerned? Disappointment can lead us into anger and even depression. What are we supposed to do with soul crushing disappointment when our situation feels as hopeless as death? Well, thankfully, Jesus teaches us and gives us hope in His word. He shows us that when we are burdened beyond our strength, we can in fact rely on God who raises the dead.
