Genesis 3:1-7

Introduction

It is very clear that we are not currently living in paradise. When we look at the brokenness in this world, we might wonder, “how did we get here?” We can assume that it’s because of sin. But the bigger question is “why?” Why do we sin?

If Adam and Eve had everything, why in the world did they sin? Satan came into the garden to deceive them with his lies. One of the disturbing things about deception is that we don’t realize we are being deceived. The same lies that Satan uses to deceive them are the same that he uses to deceive us. To keep from being duped by the Father of lies, we must be prepared. We must be aware of his schemes.

2. Flee from temptation. Vs. 6-7
