SERVICE - The Light of the World
John 8:12-30
Introduction
Humanity has been a mess from the beginning. We toil, and we strive, but we never make lasting progress. With all of our striving, we still have to come face to face with the reality of death. How can we ever find our way back to the life and joy we were created for? Jesus makes a true, yet bold claim in John 8. He says I am the light of the world. He is claiming to be the only one who leads us out of our darkness and into the light we have been searching for all of our lives. He is where our hope and satisfaction are found.
