Introduction
A walk can be very enjoyable, but it can also be dangerous. The trails can be treacherous sometimes.
In Ephesians 1 - 3, Paul lays out the beautiful theology of grace. Now in chapters 4 - 6, Paul tells us to walk the walk. In this passage, Paul is telling us to be cautious about the walk. The Christian has enemies - the world, the flesh and the Devil. Because of our enemies, this Christian walk can feel like a battle. One misstep could be disastrous.
Some people will want to hunker down and do nothing till Jesus returns. Some who are weary may want to get off the trail and coast on the current. Paul says that these are not options. You must walk. But how can we skillfully navigate the treacherous terrain of the Christian life?
