Philippians 2:12-18

Introduction

After calling us to walk in a manner worthy of the gospel (see 1:27), Paul turns to show us what that looks like. But adding to the difficulty is suffering: both the church in Philippi and the Apostle Paul are enduring hardship that make following Jesus even harder. So then, what does it look like to follow Jesus’ example (see 2:4-11) when it feels like your world is crumbling in on you?
