ActsOne8
Missions
FBCUM refers to our missions team as the “Acts One 8” team. Jesus tells His disciples in Acts 1:8 “… and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Audio
Visual
The Audio Visual Ministry team is responsible for all audiovisual support needed for worship services and church-related activities and functions. We use different methods of having volunteers work in this area; however, we mostly use a rotation system.

FBC Book
Stall
The FBC Book Stall contains an extensive list of books designed to enhance your Christian walk and greatly compliment your in-depth biblical research. All books are being sold at cost.
For a complete listing of the books that are currently included in the inventory click here

Building &
Grounds
The Building & Grounds team provides maintenance and manages the church’s property and equipment in accordance with established policies. The team also creates and maintains physical inventories of church equipment and furniture, providing analysis and recommendations to the church of future needs to existing property.

Celebrate
Recovery
The Celebrate Recovery Ministry team (CR) is designed to engage and grow through God’s healing power by our eight recovery principles taken directly from the Sermon on the Mount - Beatitudes - and 12 recovery steps along with their corresponding scriptures.
Disaster
Relief
The Disaster Relief team provides physical, emotional, and spiritual help to victims of natural and man-made disasters, including floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, and terrorist attacks, in North America. Currently, our church owns and operates a laundry unit that has helped support mud-out and chainsaw crews after hurricanes or floods.

Care
To support the ministry of the church by welcoming and ministering to our church family and guests as we gather. Help people feel welcome on Sunday morning and be prepared for special needs that morning. We also help people find their way to classes/services. The ministry facilitates ushers for the offertory collection and the gathering of accurate and legible information about guests.
God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
Hebrews 6:10

Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord… Romans 12:11
Prayer
Team
The Prayer Team prays for our church ministries, our staff, our church family, and for people throughout our town, state, nation, and the world -- ANYONE in need of prayer.
If you are in need of prayer, please let us know. The prayer room provides a 24-hour answering service for individual/situational prayers. Our prayer team will be praying for your requests immediately. Additionally, the Prayer team offers a Sunday morning Prayer Time at 8:15 am in the Prayer Room (just across the hall from Room 126). Feel free to join at any time. Please note that ALL prayer requests are confidential. >>Prayer Request<<
Prayer Request Process
Once the prayer request is received, a prayer team member begins praying for that individual or situation. Prayer-Grams are sent and follow-up calls are made to encourage the petitioner and/or the person in need of prayer. These contacts are documented to show prayer team activity. The prayer team member who receives the report that a prayer request has been answered notes that on the card and rejoices! Answered prayers are a tremendous motivation for continued prayer, and there is nothing quite as exciting as seeing God at work.
Touch
Team
The Touch Team supports the ministry of the church by contacting members and visitors with postcards, letters, and/or phone calls.
They contact members who have missed several Sundays, send notes of encouragement, and send cards to commemorate a member’s birthday, express sympathy for a loss of a family member, joy over the birth of a baby, or prayer for illness.
