Announcement
Mid-week Announcements on July 6, 2022
1) Prayer Meeting Tonight at 6:30 PM – Join us tonight as we gather to hear a devotional from James 1, an encouraging testimony, sing praises to God, and pour out our hearts to God together in prayer. All are welcome!
2) Church Picnic on the Front Lawn—Sunday, July 10th, 5:00 PM Start – We look forward to having you join us for our church picnic on July 10th! In planning the event, we’ve decided to move the start time to 5:00 PM to allow families to rest beforehand, gather their food, and miss the bulk of the heat. A few details to keep in mind
- We’ll provide the BBQ and water – you bring the sides you’d like to eat. This is NOT a potluck – feel free to share sides you bring, but it will be family-style, not a potluck.
- Bring lawn chairs, blankets, pop-up tents for shade, games, etc.
- Available to help with things like setup and cleanup? Please email Mike Rogers: [email protected]
3) Starting Point Class July 24th – Interested in learning more about FBCUM? Interested in learning what it means to be a church member? Mark your calendars for July 24th, immediately after the morning service in the fellowship hall. Lunch will be provided – please contact the church office with any questions.
4) Book Recommendation – The Pursuit of Holiness, by Jerry Bridges
5) Giving We encourage you to continue to faithfully give as a way to sustain the gospel ministry at FBCUM and as a means for us to care for those in need as a church family. You can give online or mail your offering to the church office. Church members who have a benevolence request, please contact the church office at [email protected].
If you have any questions, please contact the church office.
